Terms and Conditions for Menachefs

Welcome to Menachefs.com. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and our private chef booking services. By accessing our platform or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.
1. The Service
Menachefs (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a platform that allows clients (“you,” “your,” or “User”) to book professional private chef services for personal events, dinners, and gatherings. Once a booking is confirmed, Menachefs assigns a qualified private chef to execute the agreed-upon culinary services at your designated location.
2. Bookings, Payments, and Cancellations

Reservations: All bookings are subject to chef availability. A booking is only considered confirmed once you receive a formal confirmation email and the required payment or deposit has been processed.

Pricing & Payment: Prices are determined based on the menu, guest count, and specific event requirements. Full payment (or a required deposit, as specified at checkout) must be made through our secure payment gateway prior to the event.

Cancellations by You: * Cancellations made at least [e.g., 7 days] before the event are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations made within [e.g., 3-6 days] may be subject to a [e.g., 50%] cancellation fee to cover advanced ingredient purchases.

Cancellations by Us: In the rare event that your assigned chef becomes unavailable due to an emergency, Menachefs will make every effort to provide a replacement chef of equal caliber. If a replacement cannot be found, you will receive a full and immediate refund.
3. Client Responsibilities
To ensure a seamless and safe experience, you agree to:

Provide Accurate Information: Supply exact event details, guest counts, and correct physical addresses.

Disclose Dietary Restrictions: Accurately and fully disclose all food allergies, intolerances, and dietary restrictions for all guests at the time of booking. Menachefs and its assigned chefs cannot be held liable for allergic reactions if the allergy was not explicitly communicated in advance.

Provide a Safe Workspace: Ensure the kitchen and cooking areas are clean, safe, and equipped with basic, functioning appliances (e.g., stove, oven, refrigerator, sink with running water) prior to the chef’s arrival.

Access: Grant the assigned chef entry to the premises at the agreed-upon time to allow for sufficient prep work.
4. Chef Responsibilities
The chef assigned to your event will:

Arrive at the designated time with the necessary ingredients.

Prepare, cook, and serve the agreed-upon menu.

Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene standards.

Leave the kitchen and cooking areas in the same state of cleanliness as they were found (cleaning up food prep areas, washing used pots/pans, and properly storing leftovers).
5. Limitation of Liability

Property Damage: While our chefs exercise the utmost care, Menachefs is not liable for minor, accidental damage to standard kitchen equipment or dishware during the normal course of cooking and cleaning.

Health and Safety: Menachefs acts as the booking agency. While we rigorously vet our chefs, we limit our liability regarding illness, injury, or severe allergic reactions arising from the consumption of the food, provided the chef adhered to the disclosed dietary requirements.

Indirect Damages: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Menachefs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of our services.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on Menachefs.com, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Menachefs or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose. Harassment, abusive language, or inappropriate behavior directed toward our staff, customer service team, or assigned chefs will not be tolerated and may result in the immediate termination of your event without a refund.
8. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of Menachefs following the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
9. Governing Law
